Through pictures, this exhibit chronicles the affluent and vibrant African American community that sprung from the days of Boardwalk Empire's Enoch "Nucky" Johnson.  In its heyday, Atlantic City's North Side had an exuberant business community that bred wealth and security.  It also attracted internationally renowned celebrities and made local celebrities of several of the area's residents.

This exhibit is on display at the Garden Pier on the Atlantic City Boardwalk (New Jersey Avenue & The Boardwalk) Tuesday through Sunday, 10 am to 4 pm.
