AAHMSNJ Founder Ralph E. Hunter, Sr. talks about the origins of the museum, which started with his desire to remove every copy of “Little Black Sambo” from shelves everywhere. Hunter and Lopez also discuss the “Stereotypes” exhibit that shines a light on Atlantic City Electric’s stereotypically drawn mascot, “Elec.”  Atlantic City Electric has evolved over the years and has embraced the opportunity to learn from its past. Today, several of the company’s leaders are people of color.
