It all started with “Little Black Sambo.”
The African American Heritage Museum of Southern New Jersey opened in 2002 with a collection of stereotypical images of Blacks throughout American history. The museum’s collection has since grown to over 9,000 pieces with traveling school and corporate exhibits.
