Reception for Artist Quinton Green’s Exhibit

The museum will host a reception for new exhibit featuring the works of Quinton Green & Robert Threadgill

Admission is free, but donations are encouraged. 

The African American Heritage Museum of Southern New Jersey, Inc. will host a reception for the new Newtonville exhibit showcasing paintings by Quinton Greene and Robert Threadgill on Saturday, July 17th from 1:00 - 4:00 P.M.

The exhibit will be on display from June 26 to August 31, 2021 at the Martin Luther King, Jr. center located at 661 Jackson Road, Newtonville, NJ. 

Mr. Greene is a self-taught artist whose interest in African American culture is apparent in his subject matter. Each canvas is a high contrast narrative of the world according to the artist. He presents his ideas in bright colors and bold brushstrokes.

Also on display is a selection of oil paintings from the estate of Robert Threadgill, a favorite Atlantic City artist who painted in styles ranging from realistic to expressionist.

The African American Heritage Museum of Southern New Jersey, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization with museum locations in Atlantic City and Newtonville, New Jersey.  

Admission is free, but donations are encouraged. 

Newtonville Museum hours:  Monday-Friday: 10 AM-5 PM and Saturday/Sunday by appointment

Atlantic City Museum hours: Tuesday-Sunday: 11 AM to 5 PM
